This means that the independent installers who use Roamler Tech can now also install central heating boilers and heat pumps for Eneco,  one of the largest producers and suppliers of natural gas, electricity and heat in the Netherlands, serving more than 2 million business and residential customers.

Since 2016, independent installers have been able to earn money with the Roamler app, by performing on-demand in-home technical installations, such as the ones of Eneco’s smart thermostat Toon, and alarm systems as well as telecom devices. The planning, communication and quality control is done entirely through the app. After an initial trial period, characterized by a high customer satisfaction, Eneco will now also crowdsource more complex installations, such as CVs, heat pumps and boilers.

The requested Installations are offered to a pool of registered independent professionals directly through the Roamler App. Installers can choose among the available tasks, according to their availability and location,  while customer are given maximum flexibility in choosing when they would like the installation to take place.

“Our experience so far has proven that Crowdsourcing is an extremely suitable model also for more complex technical activities,” says Erik van Eekhout, Roamler Tech Client Success Manager. “This step means extending our cooperation with Eneco by adding extra services, such as the installation and maintenance of central heating boilers, smart boilers and hybrid heat pumps.”

Levi van de Ven, director at Eneco Installation Companies: “We want to help as many customers as possible, switching to a sustainable energy supply, by installing energy-saving products. The collaboration with Roamler Tech enables us to do that in an efficient, innovative and customer-friendly way. ”
